13-14 Jul (Sat, Sun) at VivoCity: Festival of Biodiversity 2013

Come for the massive Festival of Biodiversity! The passionate nature community comes together to share the mind-boggling biodiversity from our forests to seashores, even our backyards and parks!
Be bedazzled by butterflies and birds, awed by trees and seagrasses, tickle your curiousity with crabs and colugos. Singapore is wilder that you might imagine. Find out more about our biodiversity and what you can do to make a difference!

Here's some of fun that is planned for the Festival!

There'll be fabulous exhibitions showcasing Singapore's forests, freshwater places and sea shores: from mangroves, seagrasses to reefs! Passionate and knowledgeable volunteers will be there with interactive games to share more about Singapore's amazing wildlife!

One of these games include Seashore CSI: Who died? Who killed them? Be a seashore detective! Take a closer look at some common bits and pieces of marine life that you can find on Singapore shores.
You can identify the volunteers by the wacky mascots that they will be wearing!
The Toddycats, volunteers of the Raffles Museum of Biodiversity Research, will also share fascinating specimens of great historical value.
There'll also be a 'Year of Snakes in Singapore 2013' exhibition where you can learn more about Singapore’s native snakes and how we can make a difference for them.

Lots of FREE art and craft workshops for kids!

Wildlife of our Forest Canopy Kids learn more about animals that live in our the tall forest trees by making their own native wildlife wall-hanging or paper mobile. Suitable for kids 5-10 years.
